Privacy Policy

Vitruvians LLC (“we” or “us”) operates the website www.fitsavefun.com (the “Website”). It is the intent of this Website to inform, education and enrich the lives of the people that read and engage in our content. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is intended to inform you about our collection, use, and protection of your personally identifiable information - information that identifies you individually such as your name, mailing and email address, land and mobile phone number, product preferences, and any other information you choose to share (“PII”) and other information that does not personally identify you (“non-PII”). 1.      How We Collect Information (PII and non-PII) from you:

1.2            Non-PII - Involuntary Information Collected from You. This represents information collected involuntarily and automatically by way of various technologies or by third parties and advertisers we may use when you connect to and/or use our Websites. We currently use cookies and the information collected therein for the Google Analytics Display and Google DoubleClick program. 

Additional information which we collect via third-parties is not generally PII and includes standard computer user information and other generic information logged by our servers (such as your computer's IP address, time of viewing, type of browser used to view, the computer operating system, etc.) and ‘click through’ data (the record of your clicks on the Websites Advertiser Offers).

1.3            Use of Existing Technology. We use cookies (tiny files containing small bits of information that a web browser stores on the hard drive of a personal computer at our request) to remember users and user information from one session to another, thereby enabling us to provide better individualized service and better understand who our users are. We are dedicated to provide a better experience for all users that visit our Website and have enabled the Demographic and Interest features of the Google Display program in order to do so. 1.5            Reserving Right to Use New Technologies. Web technologies are rapidly evolving and we reserve the right to use new technologies as they are developed. We strongly urge you to revisit this Privacy Policy for any updates regarding our use of new technologies.

1.6            Anonymous Data. We also collect anonymous data to look at normative trends, to calculate aggregate statistical information, to identify consumer trends interacting with content, the number of users and participants in an Advertising Offer, the number of users who clicked through specific Advertiser Offers, the numbers of users who completed such Advertiser Offers, and to measure traffic patterns on our Website and through the Advertiser Offers. This data does not identify individual users, but may be used for general statistical, marketing, and auditing purposes.

 

2.    Ways We Use the Information: 

WE WILL NOT FACILITATE THE MERGING OF PERSONALLY-IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WITH NON-PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION COLLECTED THROUGH ANY GOOGLE ADVERTISING PRODUCT OR FEATURE UNLESS YOU HAVE ROBUST NOTICE OF, AND CONSENT TO THAT MERGER.

Currently, we may use your PII and non-PII for some or all of the following purposes:

2.1       Business Transfers - To facilitate a business transfer (if for example, our business was sold).

2.2       Suppression Lists - To maintain and share with third parties suppression lists or opt-out lists.

2.3       Targeted or Behavioral Advertising - For targeted or behavioral advertising. We use information collected from you through your completion of registrations and surveys to show you advertising and products which we believe will be of interest to you.

3.1        Sale or Transfer to Third Parties. THE COMPANY MAY SELL OR TRANSFER YOUR PII TO THIRD PARTIES FOR ANY LEGALLY PERMISSIBLE PURPOSE IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION.

3.2         Legal Process. We may share your information with third parties when (1) trying to protect or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorized transactions; (2) investigating fraud that has already taken place; (3) enforcing or applying existing terms and conditions and/or other agreements; (4) protecting the rights, property, or safety of our Website, our users and business associates including advertisers; and (5) responding to subpoenas, court orders or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

We may also grant advertising clients and email services providers’ access to your email address to verify the origin of the PII collected.

 

4.       Third Parties’ Use of Your Information – Privacy Practices of Third Parties

While we seek to partner with socially and morally responsible entities, advertisers and sites that we work with may change their policies over time. When leaving our Website through an advertisement or hyperlink,

5.       Security of Your Information Stored by Us


We use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, or accidental loss or destruction of your information (including the use of firewalls) but given the nature of the Internet and the internet advertising industry where information about you passes through entities not controlled by us we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent your information from being illegally accessed, stolen or altered.

 

6.       Communicating with Children

This Website is for persons 18 years of age and older ONLY. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and it is our intention to be fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). To follow COPPA guidelines, we do not knowingly collect PII from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child under the age of thirteen has provided us with such information through any point of contact, please immediately contact our Privacy Officer and we will ensure such information is deleted from our records.

 

7.       What choices do I have regarding the use of my PII?

7.1         You can opt out of receiving any further information from us about the Advertiser Offers and stop us from sharing your PII with third parties including the advertisers by following the instructions contained within each Advertiser Offer or by sending a message via the Contact Us page.

7.2         If you want to stop third parties (such as other advertisers) with whom you have also provided PII from using that information, you need to reference their privacy policy and contact them directly about opting-out.

 

8. Correcting, deleting or accessing your personal information

If you believe that the PII that we hold about you is incorrect, or if you wish us to remove any information held about you, you may contact our Privacy Officer to ask us to update or delete that personal information. 9. Individuals Outside of the United States

The Website is only for legal residents of the United States. If you are using our Website from outside of the United States, you acknowledge that we will collect and store PII in the United States. By registering on a Website and/or participating in a Promotion or an Advertiser Offer, you consent to the transfer of PII and non-PII to and/or storage of information outside of your country and in the United States.
