Our Fitness Mission

We love fitness and are committed to the cause.

It can provide many direct results but an even greater outcome is the continual personal growth one can achieve. A healthy life and a fit life has exponential effects. Being healthy is contagious and your growth has a way of being inspirational.

We are all at different places in our life, physically and mentally. Where we are is the result of the choices we've made. If you're overweight, underweight or just plain normal, our mission is the same. We believe that by focusing on our bodies with a balanced approach, we need not distinguish between weight loss and fitness.

What's our ultimate goal when we hit the gym or lace up our running shoes? Is it not to look great, feel great and continually grow? To push our limits far beyond what we thought possible. To be healthier, live longer, live better, do more, inspire, create great habits, clear our minds, focus, relish in that endorphin rush, and to find a connection within between mind and body. Haven't you always wondered what your capable of? Our mission is find out.

It's been known for centuries that beauty is perceived when things are in balance. The golden ratio, proportion and symmetry drive what we know to be beautiful. When we observe beauty and what nature produces, we subconsciously look for that divine formula. The building blocks of the universe tend to grow with purpose and in a very particular way. Your body is no different and nothing short of perfect. If you push your body to change, to adapt and to grow, it will respond. It was designed to respond. Push for growth and let the subatomic world take care of the rest. Stimulate your body, tear down your muscle fibers and force them to repair and heal. If you attack the entire body with a balanced approach, you will be rewarded with a body that is, as it should be.

Issues arise when workouts are designed to "fix" what people don't like about themselves. These types of workouts appear to be a means to an end but they are not. They are incomplete and unbalanced. Your body operates as whole, to strengthen one part effectively, one must strength all parts. Attack the body, in the same way the world does, all at once.

Cardiovascular training and lifting weights are not alternatives but essential tools. In tandem their purpose will help build the pieces to the puzzle that makes you, well you. Variety is the spice of life and your training should be no different. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), steady state cardio, weight lifting, body weight exercises, ab rotation, ab stability, yoga, circuits - leave no stone unturned. Keep your workouts constantly fresh by exploring new ways to stimulate your body.

All the little things that you hate or feel self consensus about will soon fade into memories. Trust us when we say that the stubborn fat on the back of your arm is best addressed by not addressing it directly. A wise coach one said that if take care of the big things, the little things will take care of themselves. Just to be 100% clear, doing 10 lb dumbbell kick backs until the cows come home, won't get you the arms that you want.

Challenge yourself each and everyday. Challenge your limits and hold nothing back. We are creatures born to move, born to run, born to be in motion. If we loose sight of that, if we forget who we are supposed to be, the future will most certainly be bleak. If you haven't seen the movie Wall-E, it's a animated Pixar flick, do yourself and favor and watch it. The seemingly innocent movie takes an aggressive stance on the future of mankind. Spoiled by convenience and technology, mankind regresses into an overweight and helpless live form.

It's sad, scary and funny all at the same time.
